The closest I've ever been to prince william is probably today ( its said in the audio tour he was baptized in one of the room in the palace)!!
went to the Buckingham palace for the "Royal's day out" tour.. That cost 24 pounds (s$72)! GOSH! so ex lar.. BUT its WORTH IT!! Its usually not open.. but angeline told me its coz the queen is out but will be returning soon.. so it open till friday! ( luckily we managed to catch it!)

angeline is sad.. hah.. she didnt manage to catch the "changing of the guard".. She kept saying we need to go back central london again to watch it.. okok.. hah..
After Q-ing for QUITE long.. we managed to get the tickets! and the 1st place to visit..
The Royal Mews
It is responsible for all road travel arrangements for the Queen and members of the Royal Family. It is still a working stables.. with horses inside!

A picture of the horses in training.. which reminds me... when I was at one of the shops, i saw this message said by a trainer of the horses.. It goes something like this.. " the hardest job is to train 4 horses to walk in a straight line with the noise etc etc".. wow~

one of the many carriages... They have like different carriages for different occasions and weather~

Next... went to
The Queen's Gallery.. Photography is not allowed in the gallery.. BUT! I still make the effort to go online and search for some of the nicest piece of art to share with u all!
Drawing by Michelangelo. A children's bacchanal.
From what I can remember from the audio... This drawing is filled with children up to mischievous stuff. It is used to depict the lowest state of humanity, devoid of reason. There's a man at the bottom right of the picture... He's drunk.. and it is seen as a warning to children about the harm of drinking.

There's another painting and story with the painting that really capture my attention! But i cant seem to get the painting from anywhere.. so here it is.. a sculpture of the painting.
The story is about cupid and Psyche.. ( as much as i can recall from the audio tour)
Psyche is a v v v pretty gal.. she has 2 sister who are both married to kings.. Psyche parents got worried about psyche who's still not married. Her parent then went to some fortune telling thing and he said that she will be married to a monster. Because of this, Psyche parents left her on top of a mountain...
Then.. there's Cupid's mother.. who for some reason hate psyche and wans cupid to punish her! so she send cupid to hurt psyche but she did not foresee that cupid will fall for psyche's beauty.
For some other reason.. i cant remember why, cupid cannot let psyche see him. And one night, psyche decided to peep at him while he is slping.. ( that's where that picture comes in).. She went in to see.. and some wax from the candle drop onto cupid and woke him up! thn i dunno what happen.. ( forgot already).. and thn... they were together le! haha.. so cute!!
Think we spent like 2 hrs there.. and went to mac for our lunch! 4 pound!
Next next.. the best of the best... The State Rooms!
There's really alot alot of rooms inside! Again, Photography is not allowed.. =( But.. 2 main point is... I totally love the pink chairs/sofas inside some of the state rooms! and no. 2.. there's one room which has like name of the one of the prince.. so the whole wall is like his initial! Gosh.. ( abit zi lian right? shall make a drawing of my idea of how my room should look like when i have the time.. hehe)

Outside the palace after the whole tour..

Trying to get an angle with much of the pretty palace..

stumped by the beauty of the palace..
