On guys
1) There a gal from HK who comment: " When my frens back home knew i was coming to spore, they were very excited bcoz they thought since singaporean guys have been through NS, they should have a good build. But i realised not all singaporean guys are muscular, and they are actually pretty similar to HK guys in terms of the way they dress.

2) student from Japan: " I find singaporean guys nerdy but the gals are very slendar with their long legs and are tall.

On gals
1) guy from France: I have been in spore since july this year. sometimes i walk around in sci just to see the gals. local girls are very pretty. i love the mini shorts and the way they walk is very charming and graceful. i find them exotic!

2) japan student: Many gals here have long straight black hair but in japan the gals change their hairstyle everyday. though local gals do not put on make-up and dress up as much, they have natural beauty!

omg!! haha.. singaporean guys really so cui? haha~~ their country guys really so shuai?! i must go for exchange le lar! haha..

okok.. let's be fair ya? they did mention singaporean guys have better character! haha.. that's good enuff yah! hahaa....

I cant finish studying lar.. weekend is too short. i need like a week. and with intensive studying to clear all the never read before notes. ( result of being lazy and always piling up those notes..) boo..

Met up with hung xin xu last night!

hung so cute! he say:" really very long nv see us already etc".. wha!! sounds like he miss us laR! so sweet~ whahha...

had a nice time crapping! congrats to hung who is ORD-ing coming weeK!

There's a room cleaning service at hall 3 last friday! Can you guess who is tat guy cleaning my room?? cannot?? cannot?? --> clue: hall 3 com one.. shurui's brother!! whaha.. so cute hor! hah.. damn funny lar.. Eugene was there also. interesting to have ppl cleaning ur room huh? $4!

oh! my sis tell me tat day about something like her fren wan to propose to her gf. ( okok.. my previous entry also got mention propose.. is coz of this previous conversation with sis that got me thinking about things along that line..)

okay! that fren wan to go Paris Eiffel Tower to propose to his gf. BUT! the pt is.. it isn't as romantic as it would seem to be! ( unless of coz he makes a trip before the real trip to find a nice place for his plan!).

why do we say so?

See this nice tower. If you plan to go on top.. and propose to her.. think twice! because.. the top floor is damn crowded lar! everyone is squeezing arounD! (its so.. not romantic!)

Then, my jie jie say.. maybe right in the middle but bottom of the tower! but... but.. that's the ticketing area leh! err... not very nice also right!

Felt happy today! For no reason. haha.. maybe is coz of the numerous jokes? or jokes i think it is.. haha..

In the early morning tax class (1030am)
Tutor discussing about: foreign source income.. tax implication in spore.

listening very attentively to tutor's explanation.. suddenly, tun.. sitting beside me.. said in a very soft voice... " that one look like hamburger hor?" .. omg! it does lar! and i burst out laughing! non-stop. yesh.!! whaha.. dammmnnn funNY!

that's one nice joke to start the day..

had a combo class today. 1030am to 430pm non-stop.

At AA202 class ( 230pm)
It was a poking session. Sitted between 2 crazy guys who decided to start poking me at the stomach.. haha.. imagine poke one side i jump one side.. poke the other side.. jump the other side.. haha.. when they say " eh combine effort" .. haha.. i gotta jump out of my chair hah..

of coz.. followed by the celebration of Felix and Keith birthday..

Person A tell Person B can get bout 6000 ppl. Person B say he can only cater to 4000 max. Person A say okay.

Next meeting, Person A tell Person B expected no. now should be 3000. Person C.. another guy thinks based on current situation is not possible.

The thing is Person A always overestimate!!! Irritated. Imagine this.

Person A propose to gf :" expected diamond ring of 24 carat"

then gf say okay

then next time maybe at registry: " expected diamond ring change to 18 carat"

then gf say.. still okay

then finally.. on the day of the real thing.. infront of everyone ( church or watever..)

takes out the ring.. --> plastic one..

whaha.. shit.. sounds so bad lar!! but.. okok.. its just a thought. Dun blame me okay! i dun mean to be bad.. whahah

Stress building up once again. Its time of the year! EXAM ARE COMING!! REPORTS hand in dates are all squeeze together. quiz and presentation. ARG~!!!!

Let's see..
thursday i have class from 1030am till 430pm. After which AA202 project meeting. 6pm-IIC meeting. 7pm AC213 meeting.
Fri- AC213 meeting.
of which...
AA201 project i have to compile
AA202 project i have to send my part consolidated with dave's and to alvin by tonight
AC213 project- to try out fact ( software) and get those transactions from mum.

I have to do all this today! TODAY!!! ahhhhhh... ( may god bless me).

Project hand in dates:
Next tues: AA202
Next fri: AA201
Next next monday: AC213
Next next thursday: AA305 quiz
and then.. next next next week is my final examination!!! Tell me how should i plan my time to study with all the projects?!!! ( okay. i admit. i have poor time management skills.. coz im still blogging now).

But the point you see.. is that.. most of these are projects! Meaning.. we have to do them together with others. and this also mean.. we have to put in our utmost effort! ( becoz.. if we dun.. we are not only killing ourselves.. we are killing others!!!)... which i dun intend to.. although the movie deathnote is nice.. ( he kills by writting. i kill by not doing my part for proj? no way).

But but.. another thing is .. mum is going overseas later at night. Yesh. She've booked the tix already. I so want to go.. just to escape from the work.. ( how irresponsible right?) but i cant! due to proJs! if not for projs.. i'll probably go! hehee..

and this leads one to think:
Remember all the reponsibility you have now. That you owe to others and not only yourself. But, if one is to disappear from the world suddenly, the world will still goes on as it is. Wont stop becoz u disappear. and this makes u think... are these "responsibilities" in the 1st place really that important?

Like a fren who told me once..
" In a relationship now, it is not just between the couple. It involves the whole family as well. the responsibility you have to face"

then i think of my aunti.. who passed away when i was in sec 2.
She's a really nice lady.. my fav aunti i would say. Did she have plans as to what to do the next morning? the morning that she passed away. Does she feels guilty now that the plan did not materialise? Are there promises she made? that she didnt manage to carry it out coz she have.. unexpectedly, to herself also.. that she would not be in this world anymore? Does anyone blame her for that?

Which is like.. maybe... all the responsibilites we are facing now are not really that important as we might think it is. Becoz if one happen to leave this world suddenly, nothing will happen. ( maybe its the fact of between choosing if u wan to do it or that.. u dont do it becoz u have no choice)... whatever it is...

erm nope.. if u are thinkin im thinkin of killin myself? erm.. who is so stupid to lar.. just coz of the work? I'm thinking of on the path of..--> maybe all these works are really not that important! ( self deceiving again..) haha..

tata~ and so.. here goes! time to get on with some work! =)

Moving on 1st gear!!
The study mood is here again! Starting on my revision for the coming exam already. Okay.. its still 1st gear but at least its a good start right!!!

Was so painful!!! the 1st day after i pluck... i cried when the anesthetized effect is gone！ but being a strong and zai me! .. im eating chicken rice again the next day. wow~

Speaking of which.. this sem keep crying ah! what is this sem? The crying sem?

Went back to PJC on thursday! The teachers and principal are all so frenly!!!
When the teacher know me and bennett is ex-PJC, he intro us to the principal.. who is also super frenly!! She wanted us to make a morning annoucement the next day. I have class the next day so i told her.. probably cant coz have morning class at 830. guess wat she say
--> " NTU and PJC is very near! We can send u back after the annoucement. Morning assembly is 745". Im shocked! where got ppl so nice and frenly one!!!

Oh yah! wanna thanks felix and bennett for acc me back to do the proposal to PJC! Thanks so much guys! ( coz of the fact we need to wake up at 630am to reach PJC in time).. haha..

nothing much to blog. actually, always have alot of things to blog about. but always lazy to blog thn all forget le. haiX!

hope i'll be moving to the 2nd .. 3rd then 4th gear for studies soon!

Copying my lecture notes just now.. and couldn't stop thinking of "the meeting" this afternoon. Just seemed to be like.. so stupid to even reply to the " karen, repeat what i've just said". Doesn't that sound so much like a pri school teacher asking a kid to "repeat what I've just said because i think you are not paying attention" kinda thing?

Irritating!

That's actually not the irritating part. The irritating part is.. i actually replied. When you are taken aback by something, you'll tend to ans the most truthful ans. Right? I think that is the same case. I didnt even think that.. actually.. I dun have to reply to that question. I can just dun care. well.. Im not working for you! You are not even my boss lar. Y should i do whatever you command me to?!

Irritating me.

I've to learn to fight for my own rights.

okay! happy thing is.. im going Pioneer Junior college this coming thursday oH! hehe.. i love pioneer JC! wonderful memories.. if only 03S21 can go back to PJC and have a class together again. If only.

Why do i feel so happy in PJ when the workload was so much heavier? but yet, in uni, as compared to JC its not as stress but i just cant be that happy??

World Trade Center.. the movie is finally here!! ( Maybe i should say.. its here too soon..) Anyway.. its a nice, sad touching movie!! go watch go watch. But i do feel the movie came out too soon.. as in.. 9/11 seems like... it just happened very recently leh...! (though its been 5 years already).. the impact..

Anyways.. something that got me thinking bout the show..
There's this scene where the 2 trapped man was dying.. Then both of them kept talking bout their family- wife and children.. and that kept them going! BUT... the main thing is.. its their wives.. they keep picturing in the moments before their death...

This links back to a conversation my siblings and my dad had before.
" If both mum and us are drowning in the sea.. who will you save?" That sounds stupid right.. haha.. but the ans is interesting. He looked troubled in answering this ans.. but in the end.. he still told us he'll choose to save mum! ( he didnt even try to bluff us lor.. duh~) WOW! A big change of considering all guys are Jerks ah? haha..

Another movie i watch on sat! The departed. Nice show too! Its the english version of wu jian dao. Watch watch watch!

Did i mention about my e-learning week?

Its so fun lar!! What happen is.. we can have tutorials using internet! ( not just lectures leh.. )
Imagine you tutor talking to herself? This is actually what happen! haha.. almost all of us are in the school computer room (fal), accessing this tutorial.

so.. everytime there's a funny comment by either students or tutor.. the whole fal burst into laughter!! hah.. I really think its fun! Then there's this chat box on the bottom left hand corner. we just crap and crap lar..

There's this incident when a gal was answering the tutor's qns.. someone type in the chat " her voice is very sexy".. haha.. imagine the laughter in the fal..

I LIKE E-Learning!! ( though.. i have alot of doubts to clear after that session.. haha.. unproductive bu fun session yeah!)

Karen is officially going to start studying this coming week!!! I AM!! (haiz..)

My wisdom tooth very painful!! i cant slp.. (though i keep falling alsp).. aaahhhh..

This week is damn weird. Just lose all the motivation to get started on any work! ( I do not wan to blame it on sunday's incident. But.. can i just blame it?--> learnt from a module. that is .. ppl always wan to attribute bad things to others and good things to themselves. tats so like wat im doing now. I DONT CARE! ITS partially the fault of sunday's incident~ ) haha.. now i feel better.

The only reason for taking on the extra burden has been reduced to this word "responsibility".

So.. next time.. b4 taking up anything must think properly!! applying to--> Studies. Ccas. Jobs. BFs. GFs. Marriage. Kids. --> Take up these only if it meant not only repsonsibilities. bcoz if its only responsibility. there'll be resentment/ lack of motivation.

Finally this week is over!! woah! so happY!

One more quiz and im done!

The week
GE quiz--> its okay~
tax quiz --> definitely a killer!!! I can't even finish it lar! The only consolation is... its only 10% of my final grade. okay!

IT project--> this one got lots to talk bout! That irritating IT tutor! She's not a real tutor from NTU, just some kind of relief teacher (yesh.. y am i given such a teacher when i pay the same school fees? hmmP!)

Okayz.. so.. the dateline of the project is 5pm on friday. Coz of the numerous quiz and different commitment, me and another grp member only manage to meet on thursday to really get down to doing and finishing it. Yesh. ( the other 2 member still have other commitment lor)..We do till 6am okay!! and still cannot finish. (lucky we both stay in hall!!) We decided to meet again at 10am the next day to continue with it. You wont believe what happen lar! at 830 am.. my grp member called to tell me! Our stupid tutor wants us to hand in before the lesson end that day. which is 1230pm!!! That is crazy lar! and impossible!! ( we haven even do the content page yet leh!!)... so i JUMP out of bed and continue doing it. ( AT that moment.. i've really condemn that tutor! hate her lar)... ( she must compensate me with one grade up if she really want me to hand in at that time!! SHE MUST!!).. anyways.. luckily... dunno what happen in the class.. ya.. the dateline is as usual at 5pm.. so continue doing doing doing... and... we only managed to finish it at 430pm!! its really like fighting a battle i tell u.. haha.. one of my grp member have to take that report, run to school to bind it and hand it in. woah! and yesh... when her msg finally came at 450pm saying she has hand in already... i finally feel shuang!!! YEAH!!!

needless to say.. only then.. did i realise.. i have not eat my lunch yet. haha.. but woah.. one nice incident to remember for this sem! felt so relieved after that... it finally feels like.. recess week is finally here.. though.. yea.. recess week has ended.. haha

had wanted to watch a movie... but guess i'm really too drained out by then. went home... and slp from 1130pm till 2 plus in the afternoon. woahhh~

and so.. one last quiz on monday!! yeah!! feel so happy... but i've not started for that quiz! shit!

This sem is really siong! crazy semester!!

and i read my email this afternoon. finally. and when i saw the 27 emails. i know.. once again.. dead. ( i really shouldnt have read those emails.. haix)

Headache..

Is it the Haze?
okay okay.. i shall not blame the haze~ its me! and the books! haha..

anyways.. the Haze is really bad today! PSI level of 70 and it looks like that? I cant remember how was it like back when the PSI level is over 100 and we get to stay at home or have PE lessons in hall instead of field...
can i not go to class now because.. the haze is making me choke??
Lazy me!

I'm so lame lar.. last night i remember taking everything back to hall! ( the laptop charger and even mooncake!) but... but.. i forget to bring my laptop back!!! and tat's why I'm at home now watching "you think you can dance?".. laptop is so big and i can forget? aiyo..

Its the end of recess week!!! boo~~ i feel like crying!~ i like slping everyday~~ (okok.. that sounds lazy..!) still.. boo..

I've got a million things not done..
1) Tax quiz - not yet finish studying
2) GE quiz - have not really start studying
3) 2molo's tax tutorial - I just remember that the questions are out (planning to do tonight)
4) IT project- All my grp members (including me) are too lazy to meet on sat to finish it.
5 ) AA202 quiz next mon is totally.. have not touch at all.

What have i done this recess week?! Actually .. i really don't know leh... everyday just pass by so quickly!! so sad lar!!! OKay! enuff grumbling.. haha

I so want to go taiwan this dec! mf say its only $499! so tempting!! woah~ Maybe i should plan a trip in advance so i'll have something to look foward to and .. study hard for exam! haha.. okok..

I read bout the story before.. Thought the play didnt portray the whole story fully.. but.. with a 2 plus hour time.. Its a great job lar! and my cousin.., Sebastian Tan..he's super funny! He's acting as one of the 2 book keeper. Very cute lar!! haha.. Its really one great show.. worth the money totally.. aiya~ i should've bought catergory one! hmmp! Their singing really very nice.. waiting for the songs from ah xu! = )

Have watch like.. 3 musical before. 2 in London.. Marry Popins and Phantom of the opera. I prefer marry popins! its really magical! hmm.. phantom and forbidden city is kinda like the same.. ya..nice but not magically nice..

Haix. if only singapore have more of these musicals lar...

Chatting with ah xu now! Somehow feel that.. its been a long time since the whole bunch are out and be crazy and siao and fun!!! We need to play! but.. haix.. time is always not on our side. okok.. december! ( its oct now and im planning to have a fun time in dec? isnt it sad? )
