Isn't this really cute? haha.. the only part i really think is interesting about IT is this diagraM! Guess it does not only apply to IT project implementation but in every aspect of our lifes! when people tend to be over confident ( Heuristic - Overconfidence)..
How when we have a new plan, we think of it in all the positive ways... like.. " thinking getting a good job = good pay and good life but in the end its just getting into the rat race.." like.. " thinking of having a child is so wonderful but in the end you raise a kid who take drugs and go to jail ( sorry.. abit mean and out of pt here).. " but yalor.. I like this diagram. so cute!
and i've finally start studying for my PE- Coping with cultural transition. so weird right? a day before the IT paper im reading PE. whatever lar.. anyway.. that's not the pt.. the pt is..
The Death Game
Its part of the chapter about cultural transition in health setting. Here goes..
You have to imagine that you have contracted a terminal illness and have only a few months left on this planet.
1) describe how you intend to spend the little time you have remaining.
2) Why do you think you contracted this illness?
3) How would you like your doctor to report the diagnosis to you?
Death Game is an intriguing way of helping participants realise the worth of life and the value of their relationships with their near and dear ones. It gives them a change to review their life so far and work towards improving its quality thereby. It helps participants verbalise their beliefs around the causes of illness as well as their preference regarding how they would like the heath care professional to break such devastating news to them
Yeah! we did this in the lecture and had to submit it to the lecturer. looking at these qns really will give you alot of ideas of how u wan to be told and how u wan to spend you remaining time.. BUT! when you actually have to write it down on a piece of paper.. wha.. really dont know what to write and how to write.. Just feel so sad lar!
tata~ back to peace corps and migrants and their problems lor!
